Kilz makes a spray can version. It's great for painting things like knobs. If this isn't handy, then you can try thinning it with paint thinner, but I don't reccomend this. Kilz is pretty thin to begin with.How do I make kilz paint thinner...?
If it is latex ( which I suspect it is) you can buy an additive, or just use water. If it is oil based, you need to add thinner, or oil.
As said above, is better oil base spray paint for knobs, latex will get dirty in a few months.

kilz is a primer and willcover stains and odors you do not want to thin it out
