I have a metal door. I believe it is an aluminum door. It has some medium shade brown paint on it that is chipping really bad. I wonder if I could just kilz over this and paint. Also, what kind of paint should I use once I Kilz.Kilz over paint on door?
If the paint that's on the door is chipping and peeling off, it will continue to do so if you just paint over it. The chipping paint will need to be sanded off. Prime it with a primer that is made for the type of surface your door is made out of and then cover it with an appropriate paint.
